"C'mon Deidara!" You said as you yawned loudly, "Keep up, we're almost at the hotel and I'm exhausted!"
"Stop nagging me yeah!" Deidara said, throwing an exasperated glare your way. The pack you were carrying was twice the size of his, but he had an over excited Tobi practically clinging to him as he walked. So you could understand why he'd be a little irritated. "And what are you looking at me like that for hm?"
"Like what?!" You said, hurridly looking away. Scowling at the ground, you felt your face heat up, "I wasn't looking at you any special way you big dope."
"Is (name)-chan mad at Deidara-senpai again? What did Senpai do this time?" Tobi asked, happily prancing up to you.
"He keeps dragging his ass, that's why I'm mad at him," You said, sticking your nose up. You'd be damned if you'd let anyone, especially Tobi or Deidara himself know how you really felt. As you walked into the average sized Inn you offered a small smile and wave at the Concierge. "Hey do you have any rooms available, its me and these two idiots."
                 "Yes ma'am we-"
"Does (Name)-chan really think Tobi is an idiot?" Tobi interrupted, kneeling next to you, his mask remarkably seeming very very hurt. You patted his head and tousled his hair.
"I'm sorry Tobi, of course you're not an idiot sweetheart," You smiled brightly at Tobi, then turned to face the concierge again with a straight face, "Two rooms, one for me, and one for the blonde idiot and my good boy Tobi."
"Awwwww!~ (Name)-chan is so sweet!" Tobi said as he tightly hugged your waist and buried his face in your breasts. Your face burned bright red because even though he's done this before you weren't use to men openly showing affection towards you. And when you glanced towards Deidara your face only burned a deeper red.
"Tobi stop!" You said, pushing him away by his mask. With one smooth movement you slammed enough money onto the counter to pay for your rooms and snatched the keys away from the concierge. "Later!"
You quickly made your way up the stairs and to one of the rooms, your face flushed, but your nose held high. Once behind a closed door you dropped your bag onto the ground and scavenged through it for something to eat. But, no luck.
"Well fuck you to!" You yelled at your pack, kicking it across the hotel room with an angry pout. You plopped onto the floor, crossing your legs and arms, "And I spent all my money in the last town we stopped in. That's fucking great."
Then you realized, you loaned Deidara money on your last mission. He wouldn't tell you what he spent it on, but that blonde owed you. And you'd be damned if you weren't going to exploit that fact. You bit the inside of your cheek and smiled to yourself. Hopping up happily you took off your normal Akatsuki uniform, and threw on a skirt and button up blouse. After running your fingers through your hair you left your room and kicked open the door across the hall from yours.
"Deidara I'm hungry." You said to the wide eyed blonde.
"What am I suppose to do about it hm?"
"Don't be a smart ass," You said, crossing your arms under your breasts. (You didn't really notice it, but Deidara was checking out the outfit you were wearing.) "I lent you money on or last mission, you owe me. And I want food, so let's go."
You walked out of his room, barely waiting for a response. Because you knew he'd follow you eventually anyways.
"So what do you want to eat yeah?" Deidara asked, falling into step next to you with his hands behind his head.
"I don't know, anything." You said with a shrug, "I'm starving."
"I thought you said you were exhausted, hm." He said, glancing at you, "you need to make up your mind yeah"
"I'm both okay," you said and scowled at him, "stop saying stupid things you big dope."
"Who are you calling stupid yeah?!" He frowned at you.
"You! Stupid blonde!" You grabbed Deidara by the back of his collar and dragged him behind you into the nearest restaurant you saw, "Table for me and this idiot!"
"Yes ma'am," The waiter said, looking at how you dragged Deidara behind you, "right this way."
"C'mon Deidara," You said, letting go of his collar. Crossing your arms again, you followed the waiter. He sat the two of you at a small booth by a window. The sun was just beginning to set, burning the sky with bright oranges and dazzling pinks. Your eyes scanned over the menu, then glanced up at Deidara. He was looking at his menu. Jeez, how beautiful could one guy be? You hated to admit it but you really like him. Like REALLY like him... even if he is an idiot.
"What are you lookin at hm?" He asked, his eyes meeting yours.
"Nothing," you said, lifting your menu higher to cover the bright blush on your face. You sure as hell were not gonna let him see you blush.
"Can i take your order?" The waiter asked.
"A bowl of ramen, two orders of dango, an order of onigiri, a plate of sushi, also a bottle of warm sake." You said without hesitation, "and whatever he's having."
"Jeez, hm, you're so small, are you really gonna be able to eat that much hm?" He asked with a half amused, half serious smirk.
"Obviously," You said, handing over your menu to the waiter with a small smile.
"I've never seen you smile before, yeah" Deidara said once the waiter scurried away, "its kind of cute hm."
The way he averted your eyes and a light pink blush graced his cheeks, made your heart flutter.
"Don't get all mushy alright," you said and started to twiddle your thumbs, "And if you call me cute again, I'll kick your ass."
You and Deidara were just settling into a nice long awkward silence when a sweet looking old woman decided to stop at your table. The two of you looked at her, while Deidara took a sip from his class of sake.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your dinner," she said with a cute wrinkly smile, "but I just wanted to say that the two of you make an adorable couple."
Deidara choked on his drink but you blushed about thirty shades of red.
"C-couple? We're not a couple yeah, we're just," He hesitated and glanced towards you, his face becoming a darker shade of pink every passing second, "friends hm."
"Well, you two just look so lovely together," the woman said and reached to touch your hand, "I simply couldn't resist saying something."
"Thank you," you said, unable to hide a small smile.
With a small laugh and a wave the woman was gone once again. Leaving you and Deidara just a little more awkward then before. He broke the silence, with hurried, loud sloppy words.
"Wow, can you believe her hm, she thought we were a couple!" he said, shifting his eyes away as he finished off his small glass.
"Yeah, that was a little embarrassing," you admitted with a microscopic smile down at your still full glass.
"You were embarrassed? That's a first yeah." Deidara was trying to keep cool and poured himself another glass. You couldn't help but notice that his actions were a tiny bit shaky, you could bet that was embarrassed too. At least a little.
"I'm allowed aren't I?" You asked and threw a glare at him. Downing your drink, you set it back onto the table then averted his eyes, "I guess, I shouldn't say it like that. I mean, you're an incredible man, when you're not being an idiot. And for someone to say that I don't look out of place next to you... well it makes me feel kinda... happy."
When he didn't respond for a long moment you glanced up. Only to find him wide eyed with a bright red face.
"Stop looking at me like that you idiot!" You said a scowled at him. Then Deidaras look of doe eyed astonishment turned into an amused one. "What are you looking at me like that for?"
"Do you like me hm?" He asked with a small smirk playing on his lips.
"What!" You scowled, your blush burning brighter, "N-No! I-I mean why would I?!"
Before you could say anything else Deidara practically launched himself at you from across the table. With a loud "clunk!" sound, his forehead hit yours. He tried to kiss you, but ended up head butting you instead. After the collision his sat back in his seat and rubbed his forehead.
"I could've done that better yeah," he said and gave you an embarrassed glance, "Can i-"
"If you're gonna try to do something cute do it right the first time," you said, rubbing the place on your brow where he'd hit you. "Your such an idiot, you can't even kiss a girl right."
With that being said, you stood, stepped over to his side of the booth and grabbed his shirt collar.
"I have to do everything myself," You mutttered.
Pulling him forward by his collar you forced his lips to press against yours. You could tell that your face was probably redder than a tomato, but whatever! You were kissing Deidara! When you disconnected you felt very dizzy, almost faint. And when your eyes fluttered open they met a pair of bright blue ones. He was looking at you in a way he never had before, it made your stomach do flip flops. With a violent shove, you stepped away, then went back to your seat across from him.
"Don't make a big deal out of that alright," you said through your blush. You crossed your arms and tried to force a glare, but couldn't, "it was just one kiss alright its not a big deal you dope!"
"If its not a big deal then why are you yelling hm?" He responded with an amused smirk.
                 "Shut up!"
With one swing you connected your fist with Deidaras jaw. Wiping that smug look off his face. He was sprawled out (with little dizzy swirls where his eyes should be) on the ground when the waiter came up with your food.
"I'm taking it your date isn't going that well?" The waiter asked with a gentle smile.
"Its actually not that bad," you replied, looking at the ground with a tiny content smile.
